Op verzoek van Dolf zorg ik, Marjolein, voorlopig voor zijn blog.

Bloedwaardes  

De verwachting is, dat de bloedwaardes redelijk stabiel blijven. Er is vandaag geen bloed afgenomen.  Toen de bloedplaatjes zo laag waren, waren de adertjes in zijn ogen gesprongen. Hij moest uitkijken met druk op zijn hoofd, dus o.a. niet bukken. Daarnaast had hij ook heel veel puntbloedinkjes, iets wat je vaak ziet bij leukemie. De puntbloedinkjes trekken langzaam maar zeker weer weg.

Conditie

De fysiotherapeut is langs geweest om Dolf te laten oefenen met een “steps-bankje”. Deze oefening is bedoeld om kracht op te bouwen in de beenspieren, om weer trap te kunnen lopen.
Het oefenschema is nu: 2 sessies per dag van 14 x op en af het bankje stappen.

Infuus

Medicijnen worden weer in vaste vorm gegeven, dus het infuus is hiervoor niet meer nodig.
Er is weer gestart met de medicijnen voor de myelo fibrose, om de symptomen hiervan te onderdrukken.

Dolf krijgt nog de helft van de benodigde voeding (2500 kcaloriën) via het infuus. De andere helft moet hij zelf door eten en drinken binnen krijgen. Er zijn veel eiwitten nodig in deze situatie. Daarom wordt er “astronauten” voedsel bijgegeven: drankjes met heel veel eiwitten en caloriëen.
Door de myelo fibrose transpireert Dolf heel veel, dus de vochtbalans moet ook goed in de gaten worden gehouden.

De diëtiste heeft vandaag een gesprek met ons gehad: eerst besproken wat Dolf nu eet en hoe we de hoeveelheid moeten opbouwen. Dolf heeft tot nu toe niet veel trek, doordat de bloedsuikerspiegel door de sondevoeding op peil wordt gehouden. Hij moet op vaste momenten (op de klok) gaan eten, ook al heeft hij geen trek. Het hongersignaal moet op deze manier weer terugkomen. Daarnaast zijn adviezen verstrekt om het eten zo eiwitrijk en calorierijk mogelijk te maken.
 
Dolf voelt zich redelijk, in ieder geval geen koorts, wel blijft hij doodop. Het douchen is nog steeds een slopende activiteit.

She does know I blog, am active in reform, etc. If she were to ever discuss her feelings on any of it with me, I would consider changing, but lacking any feedback what so ever, I do what I am comfortable with and what I can confidently stand behind.
