Dolf is de nacht goed doorgekomen.Gisteravond lichte verhoging, dus angst voor infectie.
Zijn temperatuur is nu weer redelijk normaal (37,6), in ieder geval niet alarmerend.
Hij heeft erg goed geslapen, “zegt” hij zelf. Wel heeft hij veel pijn aan de plekken op zijn bovenbenen waar een dunne laag huid is “afgeschraapt”. Er zitten dus 2 grote schaafwonden.

Vanochtend is de verpleegkundige heel lang en heel voorzichtig bezig geweest met het afscheren van zijn snor.
De beademingsbuis en de sondevoeding (beide via neus) zitten natuurlijk verschrikkelijk in de weg.
Dolf heeft zelf nog niet de coördinatie om zijn I-phone te bedienen, maar toen we gisteravond weggingen, hebben we een “hoorspel” aangezet. Gelukkig was Jeroen erbij, want het woord “podcast” had Marjolein nooit kunnen raden!
(Voor de jongeren onder ons: Bij een hoorspel is het net alsof je met je ogen dicht naar de tv kijkt.)

  1. Oe idd een schaafwond doet natuurlijk behoorlijk pijn. Ga maar na als je zelf een kleine schaafwond hebt. Ik kan me voorstellen dat ze bang zijn voor infectie daar ze de huidtransplantatie al hebben gedaan.

    Het zal wel een raar gezicht zijn om Dolf zonder zijn baardje en snor te zien. Het was natuurlijk al een heel ander gezicht omdat zijn gezicht zo gezwolle is maar toch..

    Weer een nieuwe dag opweg naar herstel.

  14. My tics started … My tics started about that age as well. Over time, they actually got worse and now it’s just a part of daily life that I have to try to conceal. I have tics like blinking, grimacing, head shaking, sniffling, eyebrow raising, etc. I’ve tried lots of medications but the side effects are just terrible because the neuroleptics used to treat the tics are very potent antipsychotics. Risperidone was the most effective but it made me so fatigued I couldn’t function. I started missing work and school. Was this answer helpful?

  67. These are indeed cool. The , though, should use something other than the default red Google map indicators. Instead, they should use indicators with arrows to show which way the camera points. That way people using the webcams (at least those of us unfamiliar with Dublin) can tell what they’re looking at. I believe the Google API allows for other images to be substituted for the indicator.

The MM is also a great way to describe the behavior of people who impose their personal fears and negativity onto others. The MM is primative and must evolve into the mastermind, where fear is embraced, and harnessed to create the desired results…we all must be evolving into our better selves.
